We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the complete deletion of your information from our systems.
1. What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Messages: All text messages, voice messages, and media files you've sent
- Processed Content: Transcriptions, summaries, and organized data
- Account Information: Your WhatsApp number and associated metadata
- Usage Data: Service usage patterns and analytics tied to your account
- Generated Content: Tasks, reminders, and AI-generated summaries
2. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request data deletion through two methods:
Method 1: WhatsApp (Recommended)
Send a Deletion Request
Send the message "DELETE MY DATA" to our WhatsApp number from the same number you used for our service.
Send Deletion RequestMethod 2: Email
Email Our Privacy Team
Send an email to privacy@nyxa.life with:
- • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- • Your WhatsApp number used with our service
- • Confirmation that you want all data deleted
3. Verification Process
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we need to verify your identity:
- WhatsApp Method: We verify automatically since the request comes from your registered number
- Email Method: We may ask you to confirm via WhatsApp or provide additional verification
4. Deletion Timeline
What to Expect:
Confirmation (Within 7 days)
We'll confirm receipt of your deletion request and verify your identity.
Active Data Deletion (Within 30 days)
We'll permanently delete all your data from our active systems.
Backup Purge (Additional 90 days)
Your data will be removed from backup systems during the next backup rotation cycle.
Completion Confirmation
We'll notify you when the deletion process is fully complete.
5. Important Notes
⚠️ Before You Delete
- • Irreversible: Data deletion cannot be undone
- • Service Access: You won't be able to use Nyxa after deletion
- • Reactivation: You can start fresh anytime by messaging us again
- • Legal Retention: Some data may be retained if required by law
6. Alternative: Temporary Suspension
If you're unsure about permanent deletion, you can:
- Send "STOP" to pause our service without deleting data
- Send "START" anytime to resume service
- Request deletion later if you decide you no longer want the data
